RoboPros is pleased to bring you the RoboPros Pod Shell Kit. This kit includes all the parts necessary to deck out your escape pod with a unique custom Raspberry Pi case. The unique Pi case is designed to be similar to Digital Dream Lab’s animation of the Escape pod when it was introduced. It’s made as compact as it can be while fitting all the components and has a very special feature – the eyes glow behind the window when the power is on!
These kits are designed for those that already have Digital Dream Labs Escape Pod software set up on their own Raspberry Pi 4 and want to take advantage of the uniquely designed Pi Case and electronics that RoboPros created for the Escape Pod. This kit requires a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and Micro SD card (Pi and SD Card not included).
There are two versions available - Standard and Pro
RPPK-S (Standard) - For the everyday user
This includes the complete standard shell including the outer shell, window and custom Pi Fan Bracket. You will also get the custom electronics designed specifically for the RPPK including the Dual LED Light Component, Fan Control Unit (FCU) that controls a 5v Fan (30mm fan and Pi Heatsinks Included). And power button.
RPPK-P (Pro) - For the Advanced User
This includes the complete Pro shell including the outer shell, port frame and cover, window and custom Pi Fan Bracket and SD Card Guide. You will also get the custom electronics designed specifically for the RPPK including the Dual LED Light Component with changeable LEDs (includes blue and green), Fan Control Unit (FCU) that controls a 5v Fan (30mm fan and Pi heatsinks included). And power button.
Both versions above include a link to assembly instructions including pin assignment and connection info for the LED, Fan and Power Button. Instructions for adding the scripts to control the fan, power button and LED eyes are included.
RoboPros Pod kits are made using a combination of FDM and Resin 3D Printed parts along with custom wiring and circuits and are designed specifically for Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Single Board Computers (SBC).
